Special features The FS63 - High Temperature Dielectric Probe is a Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) based sensor, specifically designed to withstand high temperatures and intense electromagnetic fields.
This sensor is completely non-metallic and employs only heat-resistant and highly dielectric materials.
Robustness. Ruggedized construction with Kevlar® and PTFE strength layers, offering high longitudinal and transversal protection.
Completely passive. Inherent immunity to all electromagnetic effects (EMI, RFI, sparks, etc.) and safe operation in hazardous environments.
High multiplexing capability. Possibility of connecting several sensors to the same optical channel in a single measurement unit, by using active and/or passive multiplexers.
Remote sensing. Large distance between sensors and interrogator (several kilometers).
Compatible with most interrogators. Provided with calibration sheet, allowing easy and accurate configuration.
Self-referenced. Based on the measurement of an absolute parameter - the Bragg wavelength - independent of power fluctuations.
