Weighing silos with equipment from HBM
Determination of the level of liquid or granular material in the weighing hopper is one of the most reliable methods.
When filling a horizontal silo with liquid the center of gravity of the hopper moves only vertically, so the possible installation of two weigh modules on one side of the hopper and the two fixed supports on the other. When weighing the hopper with dry food you need to use four weigh modules.

HLC
Modules HLC is designed for an optimal point force application via a self-centering pendulum support. Together with sensors of the series HLC, HLC modules are ideally suited for weighing silos.
Sensors HLC can be used with elastic supports. These supports are used to eliminate vibrations and soften impacts. In addition, these bearings provide thermal insulation between the bins and the weight sensor.
